Don't Sleep On Serena, 2018 is a direct reference to Serena Williams coming back and you not thinking it's going to be great. Done on 40 x 40 canvas with purpose. Tennis scores... Serena Williams will hopefully be back to playing tennis at a high level in 2018. She is a winner with both, 23 grand slams and a new baby girl, she is an even bigger, badder Mama-Jamma! SO WATCH OUT! Let's be honest, Serena Williams is really, really good and I've always liked her. This is my abstract free hand take on an iconic photo with some embellishing for reference... I imagine her being wiped out by the baby. Dreaming. Like she's been there before but not really... Nice plush grass. A baby bottle... Big shoes to fill and a little bit bigger Serena... A nightmare perhaps or just one of those crazy naps... Don't Sleep On Serena, 2018 or any year after... She'll be back, EDIT: She's back already, Indian Wells...YES!!!
