About The Artwork.
I was watching the Black Panthers documentary. I was inclined to paint something. I went with something that struck me. Not the fighting or the police brutality or the prejudice coming from the country. I knew all that stuff already. Instead I saw something I didn't know, the Black Panthers used to feed the children, the less fortunate in the community. Before school you could go get breakfast with the Black Panthers. Nobody talked about that. This painting is a recreation of the HQ sign in LA, all the while the city burned in the background. This is realism. original. Nicholas Conlon
That was the original piece I put up... 2014 Now in 2023 I finally burned it WOW!!! This is what I said now...
