Nicholas Conlon, 2020
I attempted to paint my wildflowers, my abstract flowers and I painted this instead. My daughter helped me with the background/sides. I don't know what it is but I immediately thought; Weekend At Bernie's, the movie. I was going to paint over it with big abstract colors but... The colors, 80's beach house look, Then the black and white and the impending doom of the bomb/missile. The corny ness of it. The death like appeal to it, the storm coming, dark clouds, the poetry on the bomb. The bright colors of our world. It's how I think of the world right now, it's all corn beef. BS. Corny to have beef. Dropping bombs over what? Corny beef? Then I think about the poetry, the climate, the whack ass art nowadays and them I'm like... Come on. Get over yourself, you're asking others to get over their shit... I'm all love and then... It's like Corn beef is such a jewish meal. Bernie Sanders. It's just, Weekend At Bernie's. Great simple colorful painting man, I wish I was on the beach type art. Street art, abstract, pop art, comic, colorful , drawing, story, life, interior design, office style.
Everything in just a little bit...
Ironic. Idiotic. Iconic.
You will never be the same.
