Nicknickers does. We show and tell. We make and create. We walk the talk. We rant and rave AND DO! That's right... we DO... Do you? By making a line of designs dedicated to the current state of affairs in our country we are automatically DOING something about it. We just aren't bitching on social media about change. While it is good that we are "talking" about social change it is much better that we DO something about it. "Doth Protest Too Much..." is the idea that perhaps we are taking the idea of protest too far without actually doing anything about all the wrong we are seeing and maybe even creating more??? We are attempting to help others show their frustrations and wear their badges of courage right across their chest. A literal wear your heart on your sleeve attitude at Nicknickers. We sit on the fence at Nicknickers in the sense that nobody is right all the time and no way are we going to jump on one side or the other because there are ALWAYS two sides to a story. And it doesn't hurt to listen to both sides. In fact it is imperative. It is ultimately necessary to be empathetic with humanity in the heat of frustrations and emotional breakdowns. Where are the leaders of our country? The entertainers? The athletes? The politicians? We had 4 women from the WNBA with bad t-shirts on talking about change. We had 4 of the best players from the NBA wearing no socks with their tuxedos take up the first 20 minutes of an award show to vent their frustrations. Now what? Where are we? Where is the melting pot of America? What does Montana think? Or North Dakota? Where are we represented America? WE represent you America. WE at Nicknickers represent you because we don't pick sides and fight without the information to do so. We don't jump on the bandwagon to beat up the other side. Which ever the other side may be... WE don't hurt at Nicknickers. We may make fun of something or someone that's our deal. That's our lifeline. That's WHY we were created. That's what we do. But we have no ill will. We are not trying to be hurtful, or vindictive. We just want to have fun. WE LOVE YOU. WE REPRESENT YOU. WE WANT YOU ON OUR TEAM. Question authority, it's in our nature as a society. It's the backbone of America. It's what we are all about. But Hate has got to go. Hate is evil and it has no merit. Giving power to hate and ultimately negativity is a waste of time and it has absolutely no value. And we at Nicknickers are too valuable to waste our time. Believe in Peace. Believe in Love. And fight for that. Wear our clothes as a badge across your chest. Represent love and peace and wear your heart on your sleeve and Nicknickers on your back... Because that's what we got.
