RANT AND RAVE: But you also must DO...

  Nicknickers does. We show and tell. We make and create. We walk the talk. We rant and rave AND DO!  That's right... we DO... Do you? By making a line of designs dedicated to the current state of affairs in our country we are automatically DOING something about it. We just aren't bitching on social media about change. While it is good that we are "talking" about social change it is much better that we DO something about it. "Doth Protest Too Much..." is the idea that perhaps we are taking the idea of protest too far without actually doing anything...

At Nicknickers we have always used American Apparel manufacturing for our clothing. We use them now because they're made in the USA. If we were to over purchase cotton and be wasteful and make more of the same we would also be made in the U.S.A. But at Nicknickers we are not the same. And, just as important, we like American Apparel. We've liked them and used them since we first created this line in 2002. The new collection for the summer is here...

"Doth Protest Too Much" - The Queen, Hamlet. William Shakespeare.   We here at Nicknickers fell that, that is exactly what is going on. Both sides are needing a fixing... But in such a way that is not the path we are on.  Do we have a fix? Not right now, there is no quick fix. But even as we are writing this , we are constantly and always involved. This violence and utter disconnect and silly ass to fast to catch up pace can't continue. We need to slow down and take it easy. Relax. Meditate. Take a step back for crying...
