My First Hoop starts with the first hoop I ever owned. While kids were getting huge backboards attached to their garages in the 80s I was making basketball hoops out of wire hangers and putting them in the tops of doors and playing with a tinfoil Basketball so it sounds very rudimentary everybody in the neighborhood came to my house to play. The next piece is The infamous milk crate and discarded wood backboard That is ubiquitous and all the inner cities and then ends with the original basket hoop of all time the peach basket. My First Hoop. Ironic. Idiotic. Iconic. Nicknickers. You will never be the same.
